What Would Stan Say?

(Benson-Henry students, this page was inspired by you!)

Every waking moment, wherever you are, whatever you're doing, what would I say to you about how you're standing, how you're walking, how you're sitting?

  • Unclench your jaw, relax your face.
  • Relax your shoulders.
  • Breathe slowly and deeply into your belly, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
  • Bend your knees.
  • Unclench your buttocks, relax your hips.
  • Walk slower.

Start with these small, simple changes to your everyday existence, and they'll open the door for taijiquan to profoundly transform your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
